Abuse Policy

We take abuse, spam, phishing, malware, and unauthorized activities very seriously.

Prohibited Activities

  • Sending spam or bulk email without permission.
  • Hosting phishing pages or malware.
  • Running compromised scripts or insecure websites.
  • Using the server for illegal or abusive activity.
  • Causing IP blacklist or network reputation damage.
  • Sending high-volume SMTP traffic without prior approval or clear confirmation of the expected sending volume.
  • Failure to cooperate with abuse investigations or provider abuse reports.

Action Against Abuse

If abuse activity is detected, we may temporarily limit, suspend, disable, or restrict the affected service to protect our network, IP reputation, provider relationship, and other customers.

This may include restricting outgoing SMTP traffic, disabling mail services, blocking specific ports, suspending access, or applying any other preventive action required to stop the abuse activity.

Service Suspension and Termination

Hatchserver reserves the right to suspend, restrict, disable, or permanently terminate any service involved in abuse activity, suspicious SMTP traffic, spam, phishing, malware, unauthorized activity, compromised scripts, insecure websites, or any activity that may harm IP reputation or violate provider/datacenter policies.

Customers are required to cooperate with abuse investigations and provide clear information when requested, including traffic sources, expected usage volume, sending applications, security controls, and compliance measures.

Failure to respond to abuse notices, failure to provide the requested information, repeated abuse reports, or continued suspicious activity may result in immediate service suspension or permanent termination without further notice.

Refunds in Abuse-Related Cases

Services that have already been activated, provisioned, or used are not eligible for a full refund.

If a service is suspended, restricted, disabled, or terminated due to abuse activity, spam, phishing, malware, compromised scripts, unauthorized activity, IP blacklist risk, provider abuse reports, or failure to cooperate with an abuse investigation, the customer will not be eligible for a full refund.

Any refund, if applicable, will be calculated at Hatchserver's discretion and may only cover the unused prepaid service period after deducting used service time, setup or activation fees, provider non-refundable costs, support handling, administrative work, abuse investigation time, chargeback fees, and any abuse-related costs or damages.

Hatchserver reserves the right to refuse refunds in cases involving confirmed abuse, repeated abuse reports, non-cooperation, or activities that may harm network reputation or violate provider/datacenter policies.
